A New Fish in the Sea

The seafood segment continues to buzz with activity, and we are excited to share some noteworthy changes within the team. 

Michael Wounlund has joined as the new Business Segment Manager. He brings 25 years of experience in the food industry and knows a thing or two about freezing, cooking, and tempering food products. 

Michael will be working closely with Søren, our current Business Segment Manager, and they will be able to leverage their combined expertise to give the seafood producers the best possible solutions for their needs. 

Michael coming on board also meant restructuring roles within the seafood segment. Søren will, therefore, focus more specifically on pelagic fish – such as sardines, mackerel, and herring – as well as canning solutions. Meanwhile, Michael will lead the team, focus on shellfish, and take charge of the seafood business development and sales.
